A classic margarita, tequila, lime and orange liqueur, shaken and topped with Bella Principessa. The wine lightens it and adds the bubbles, so it drinks more like a party than a dare.

Poured with the Rosé, our blush Prosecco DOC Rosé, also Brut: lime and tequila with a red‑berry finish. With the Gold, it’s the crisp classic.

Tap each step as you go.

Salute.

Why top it, and never shake it?

Shake the margarita as usual. The Prosecco goes on last, so the bubbles reach the glass.

Which Prosecco for a margarita?

A dry one: lime is sharp and orange liqueur is sweet, and she keeps the balance. Pour the Pink for a pink margarita.

The Story

Spanish for “daisy.”
Better with bubbles.

Everyone claims it.

Bars from Tijuana to Ensenada to Juárez say they made the first one; nobody can prove it1. What is clear: margarita is Spanish for “daisy,” and the drink is a daisy made with tequila1.

A dare, softened.

A margarita is a commitment. A little Prosecco on top makes it a conversation. Same salt, same lime, longer evening.

Your turn.

You’re here because Taco Tuesday deserves a better drink. Salt the rims, shake the base, top with a cold bottle of Bella Principessa.

Margarita questions.

Can you put Prosecco in a margarita?

Yes. Shake the margarita as usual and top it with Prosecco.

Is it stronger than a regular margarita?

Slightly weaker per ounce, because the wine dilutes the tequila, but it’s a bigger drink. Count them like margaritas.

Please enjoy responsibly: 21+ only, and plan a safe way home.
