Ja, Prosecco ist ein Schaumwein, der aus Trauben hergestellt wird. Die wichtigste Rebsorte für die Herstellung von Prosecco ist Glera, die in der Prosecco-Region im Nordosten Italiens angebaut wird. Zur Herstellung von Schaumwein können auch andere Rebsorten verwendet werden, aber nur Wein, der aus in der Prosecco-Region angebauten Glera-Trauben hergestellt wird, darf als Prosecco gekennzeichnet werden.
